This is the new cheddar on the block.
The Trethowans, legendary makers of Gorwydd Caerphilly, live just five miles from the village of Cheddar. So, they decided to add a cheddar to their production. And they have done an astonishingly good job.

Characteristics: clothbound, made with Somerset milk, and as creamy as it is tangy and juicy.

Best with: pickled onions, apples
